I wanted to do something a little bit eye-catching, but not too crazy and still in keeping with her farm animal/horsey theme in her room.. Well, I was pinning around Pinterest the other day and I came across an idea from.
I think I’ve made about four of them for different occasions this year.I just love how soft and textury and homey they are.. Well, I was tempted to make another one for Fall this year.

Is there a more textury season than Fall?I had a little bit of a different idea though after looking at some of my favorite images of Fall entryways..I used a long piece of twine to tie fabric strips to and made a garland!.

Ok, truth be told, this really isn’t much of a garland.I worked on it for about 2.5 hours while watching a movie.

When the movie was over, this what I had.
More of a little scarf than a garland really.Design, Dining, and Diapers..
Giant tabacco basket from Shopping Candy.. Another giant tobacco basket at A Soft Place to Land.. You totally get it now, right?I’m betting I could find one of those big tobacco baskets around here pretty easily since that used to be one of the biggest crops grown in this area.
It still is quite a bit, although much less for obvious reasons.. I’m working on my own DIY, almost-free version of the basket wall to show you today.I should have it ready for a close-up real soon! This has got to be my favorite pallet project ever.
